As you know the club is having a picnic in place of the Fun Match this year (9-26-09). Tina volunteered to be picnic-chair. The morning will cover handling and grooming, then lunch, and in the afternoon fun and games with the dogs and their people. Patty will try to have the set up to also provide CGC testing. The club will furnish meat and beverages, guests are asked to bring a side dish/dessert. Nadine and Sue will put out a flyer.

There was a brief discussion on dog legislation that is pending in Oregon.  AKC has a link to each state if you are interested.

Rescue Report:  Patty reported that Riley in Dayton is doing well. New Owner says he is a wonderful comfort to her.
Sue Dockstader says their girl is also doing well, but still a bit fearful. They are doing a lot of activities with repetition so that she gains confidence.
Patty’Storkel’s Shamus has passed his CGC and Therapy Dog Certification.
