Treasurers Report:

Clackamas County Fairgrounds raised their rates about $75.00; they are paid for the year. We have storage rental fees and insurance fees due this September
Rescue Report:
Three applications in. One query with an application coming. We have a 4yr old girl needing to be placed in a home with no other dogs (and no cats).
Patty & Dorian spoke to a young man this past Saturday. He just lost his retired greyhound. He is looking at wolfhounds, great danes and greyhounds. As we couldn't guarantee he would get this girl, he decided to take one of the greyhounds but wants to be considered in the future.
Patty conducted a home visit in St. Paul. The couple both work and recently lost their lab. They had great danes for many years, so are familiar with giant dogs. They have 16 acres fenced and cross-fenced across from Champoeg Park. They have 2 horses and one outside cat. They were at the Cascade Hound Association show talking to wolfhound people, and are also interested in attending the picnic.
The couple in Salem have two small dogs and would not be a candidate for the rescue girl. They would prefer a male. A home visit has not been scheduled yet. They will be invited to the picnic.
The application received today is from a single woman in Keizer. She works at a Vet clinic part time and has three roommates, all agreeing on wanting a dog. They have two indoor cats. Patty will do a phone interview and arrange a home visit at a later date. This home is not a good match for the rescue girl due to the two cats. She will be invited to the picnic.
Old Business..
New bylaws voted in as written. (Minor edits still needed for spelling and grammar)
Club application is on hold till next meeting.

New business:
Picnic: For CGC testing two greeter dogs are needed. Two helpers. (Esther and Dorian volunteered) Start testing at 9:30am. No Halti or pinch collars allowed. We need to get the word out they must have slip or buckle collars. Dogs must be at least 6 months old Food can not be used during testing Rabies certificate (Not tags) is required. IW themed boxes will be given to all successful participants.
Patty contacted Bagpiper to see if he was available. It was determined to be unnecessary for the picnic since we cannot guarantee the number of participants so the cost is not justified for this year.
Tina brought up they have tie dye sweatshirts expensive $40.00
Suggestions to sell some of the older merchandise at a discount. Possibly sell some of the cheaper IW books.
It was suggested that we coordinate with Linda on what we are bringing to the picnic.
Have people email the webmaster their RSVP and what they will be bringing and we will post to the website so everyone can check and see.
Tina to check with Gretchen on judging assignment and get something in writing.
Motion to adjourn Tina
